About Me
Hi, I’m Tatjana a cross-cultural, out-proud non binary, queer, autistic, ADHD, high sensitive and empathic person. I am complex trauma survivor, with experiences of sexual and narcissistic abuse, unaccepting dificoult family relations, car accidents, war, mental health challenges and workplace mobbing. I am now passing my knowledge and tools witch I have learned, that help to put me back together when I felt broken, to support others in their recover. I come from a very small city in Serbia and I studied Special Education and Rehabilitation in Belgrade. I live in Switzerland, where I work as a special educator, an artist, a counsellor, therapist and I am in counselling training. Having traveled, lived and worked in different countries, I am connected with people from lot of backgrounds and feel grateful that I am on my way to profession that I am passionate about and which allows me to do just that.
HOW I APPROACH THERAPY
I see therapy as a process, where each session meets you where you are. Therefore, what happens in each session depends on your current needs, the context, and the stage you’re at in the process. Our sessions are a place where you can share what feels most meaningful to you in the present moment, allowing intuition and openness to guide our work together.
My approach is holistic and integrative. “Holistic” means I view all areas of life—health, relationships, career, interests, finances, culture, etc.—as interconnected aspects of a whole. “Integrative” means I draw from diverse therapeutic approaches and schools of thought, blending elements from both emotion-based and trauma-informed approaches to support your journey towards growth and healing.
Even if we have friends, family or romantic partners we can rely on, it is not always possible to freely express all our feelings and say everything that resides in our minds. This is what therapy is for, to provide a space where it is possible and safe to do so.
